Disadvantages: Price? Is a 22' monitor necessary?

I purchased this monitor about a year ago in Comet for £240, and recently sold it on E-Bay for £120. However, this was nothing to do with the quality of the monitor, and more to do with the fact that I purchased an All in One computer. As far as monitors go, this was perfect! The pictures on the screen were so crisp and vivid: if you are looking for a screen to watch Blu Ray films on then this is possibly the best! The 20,000:1 contrast ratio is amazing for a PC monitor.

Not only does it look great with your PC (some might say you don't need 22' for a PC monitor, and this maybe true, but with more multimedia such as BBC iPlayer a big screen does have its uses), but if you purchase a VGA converter then you can use the HDMI cable from your games console and plug that in. My PS3 looked fantastic on this screen!

In fact the only negative thing is that when playing DVDs it would come up with an 'incorrect screen resolution' message I could not solve. But for most people that will not be an issue.

Summary: If you want the best and biggest monitor this is the one for you if you don't mind the price.
