Advantages: Different colour, brilliant picture, many sockets
Disadvantages: Sound is not brilliant
I bought this monitor a few months ago to use as a TV for my bedroom.
The thing that initially attracted me to this monitor was the unusual "black rose" colouring of the frame. It really does look as good in real life as it does in the pictures.
The picture is very clear - better than my laptop which boasted a HD screen when I bought it but this monitor is so much better.
One problem I have noticed developing recently is there is a high-pitched sound coming from the monitor when it heats up. I originally thought this was the speakers I bought to plug in (as there is little to no bass from the built in speakers) but have narrowed it down to coming from the monitor itself. This could just be a faulty model that I have been given so I will not rate the monitor down for this.
The monitor is very easy to set up to use as a TV using the "plug and play" option. I set it up by myself (and I am rubbish at things like that) and was watching TV in 10 minutes!
In conclusion I would recommend this monitor to people who value picture quality over sound.
Summary: Good for use as a TV due to built in freeview
