Samsung Syncmaster T220HD ... bought this monitor a few months ago to use as a TV for my bedroom. The thing that initially attracted me to this monitor was the unusual "black rose" colouring of the frame. It really does look as good in real life as it does in the pictures. The picture is very clear - better than my laptop which boasted a HD screen when I bought it but this monitor is so much better. One problem I have noticed developing recently is there is a high-pitched sound coming from the monitor when it heats up. I originally thought this was the speakers I bought to plug in (as there is little to no bass from the built in speakers) but have narrowed it down to coming from the moni... Samsung Syncmaster 2053BW ... off when you turn off your PC rather it goes into standby mode and a blue light flashes at the bottom to indicate this. This was in fact a gripe for me as this blue light proved very annoying at night in my bedroom, thought, there is a physical switch and you are able to completely switch it off it would have been nice if this option could be achieved automatically. The screen is finished in Samsung s signature piano black gloss effect. The buttons are all hidden behind a clear strip of plastic at the bottom, all in all it looks very sleek and professional, defiantly doesn t look cheap like some on the market. Samsung Syncmaster 2232BW ... love this monitor! I bought it at Curry s when it was on offer for £190 and it s a purchase I do not regret. Before it, I had a 15" 4:3 monitor, which now seems very small in comparison. Widescreen monitors are now becoming mainstream in all markets and it brings benefits even to the average computer user. This 22" beast is huge and allows you to see separate pages side by side, for example. This will be especially useful for the new Windows 7 OS, which allows you to drag windows to the corner to fill half the screen. It s also fantastic for watching films, but remember that this monitor is 16:10 as opposed to 16:9. That s fine for me because it is the best ...
