The firm Sony invariable manages to keep the mark in the field of high technologies. Certainly, the 18-inch monitor CPD-L181 is not ideal, but all functions, being available at, are realized very qualitatively.

The easy board with small fields strongly stands on a broad support, joint with it by a metal bracket. Unfortunately, the screen can be turned only up or downwards. The monitor has two analog inputs, which switching is made by an appropriate button on a board. The selftuning perfectly works, and its set-up practically is ideal. Perfectly manages the problems both system of "intellectual" process of scaling and interpolations. Three modes of function of digital smoothing (text, graphic, standard) ensure very point reproduction the graphics and texts even with low resolution.

The monitor has a significant stock of brightness and the visibility, unique bright lamp of illumination and well selected spectrum of a color filter ensure magnificent quality of an image on a screen of the display.

It is necessary also to mark new technologies Sony, applied in this model: Digital Multiscan - special processor ensuring automatic self-set-up of the monitors Sony on any graphic mode, including on not existing on a moment of creation of the monitor, and also Digital Smoothing - function compensatory gradualness of curves and illegibility of numerals intrinsic LCD-technology in modes which are distinct from main.

The system of tunings and adjustments of this monitor is rather convenient. CPD-L181 under the strictest standard of safety TCO'99 is certificates.

To defects it is possible to refer only absence of a digital input and USB-concentrator.
