This means that theoretically there should be a little more smearing seen in fast action games and DVDs but in reality you would be hard pushed to tell the difference. The advangtage of the DVI connector as opposed to the previous VGA connector is that it is digital and so there is less chance of artefacts and distortions being seen on the screen.
