lump to fit in. So, why does this monitor have such a large feel to it? Well the main reason is that this monitor has huge speakers built in to the panel at the bottom. A lot of people i know are totally against built in speakers, this is usually because of the not so good sound quality you get from them. I found them o.k, but I was using this monitor at work, I never really had the chance to test them out properly by pumping out my my music from them. It is one of the few flat-screen monitors that can reach 1600x1200, without either being massive (with consequent low pixel resolution) or falling in to the widescreen category. For playing older games, a widescreen monitor is just not really suitable, since a lot of these games only support traditional 4:3 resolutions. This monitor ensures that these games still look great.
