 ... which means that you might get a few dead pixels when you buy it. Fortunatly I have had two and have had no dead pixels so they seem quite realiable. Most other manufacturers offer the smae policy except for the more professional units (more expensive too) that will ge guarenteed to have no dead pixels. A slightly cheaper alternative to the VX924 but you do get 8ms refresh rate as opposed to 3ms for the VX924. You shouldn't be able to notice the difference between the two but those watching fast action movies and games...more

This monitor is classified as a 19" TFT and connects to a PC via DVI connector. The monitor is essentially the same as the VX924 but this one has 8ms refresh time as opposed to the 3ms of the VX924. This means that theoretically there should be a little more smearing seen in fast action games and DVDs but in reality you would be hard pushed to tell the difference. The advangtage of the DVI connector as opposed to the previous VGA connector is that it is digital and so there is less chance of artefacts and distortions being seen on the screen.
