I've just upgraded from a CRT to this flat screen monitor and it makes a huge difference. It clears up lots of desk space and best of all is very good looking. It is good for gaming, Battlefield 2142 runs very nicely with a 3ms response time. It is good for general work, browsing the internet and typing documents. This monitor is classified as a 19" TFT and connects to a PC via DVI connector. The advangtage of the DVI connector as opposed to the previous VGA connector is that it is digital and so there is less chance of artefacts and distortions being seen on the screen. The screen itself has a dull matt finish unlike someother glossy ones. The good thing is that reflected sunlight is not so prominent on the screen and therefore less distraction. The downside is that true blacks and whites are not as vivid as on a screen with a glossy finish to it.
