Beth21 We Will Rock You: ... Will Rock You is probably my favourite musical! I had seen The Lion King earlier in the year and that blew me away, but this just rocked it all up and I loved it! Using Lastminute.com ( which is should review as I am an avid user) I bought two tickets at £27.50 each, this was the cheapest tickets on there, It was a Wednesday Night, and it was my birthday, I was very hungover and had an awful head ache, but this m...

durhamapple Mark Watson - Can I briefly talk to you about the point of life?
... man is naturally hilarious. He s lives in Bristol but for some bizarre reason performs his stand up using a gruff welsh accent, but I m not complaining because everything that comes out of his mouth seems funnier. He s clean and doesn t swear a vast amount for cheap laughs like some other comedians and that is a real talent, to make people laugh through genuinely funny wordplay. He s energetic, exciting and clearly very intelligent. I m not a massive laugh out loud kind of guy but there were five moments when I was rolling around in my seat and couldn t have helped if even if I d wanted too. The only potential argument against seeing him if you need one is that you c...

Leannie1000 Mary Poppins - The Musical
... didn t actually see this in the UK, I saw it on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre in NYC but I believe it is exactly the same show and actors change frequently anyway. I absolutely love the film and have been to see The Lion King on stage so thought this would be worth going to see. Both are produced by Disney and I think that quality shows through. The action still centres around Mary Poppins, Bert and the Banks family and most of the storyline and songs -with a few add-ins, such as a long version of Super... - are exactly the same as in the film, which I won t go into as I m sure everyone has seen the film! There are a few differences but I won t give them awa...

laukez Oliver!
... few weeks ago my boyfriend and I had booked a night at a fancy hotel in London and wanted to see a show while we were there. Hvaing looked at the listings for the west end for that saturday nightwe decided to go to see Oliver! Now, I was never that much of a fan, and definitely didn t like Jodie Prenger on I d Do Anything. I was also dubious about Omid Djalili as Fagin, and can t bear smug little child stars in general. However we managed to get two stalls tickets from ebay for £58 so as it was a bargan off we went to the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Now having been disappointed on a couple of occasions with the quality of London s theatres (Cambridge and Adelphi, I m lo...
