Advantages: An ability to relate to its plot and characters - timeless

Disadvantages: None

This is one of the great classics of the theatre, appealing to all ages and generations. An Inspector Calls is a play which I believe everyone should see at some point. I have seen it three times, and everytime it has something new to say. Priestly's ability to allow the audience to relate their own experiences to the plot and characters within is a great bonus. It is a timeless production, and I would go again and again. The play is easy to understand, and whilst many now study this at GCSE and A Level, you don't need to have previously examined it before viewing; in fact, I didn't study or examine it until after I'd seen it. It really is a superb production, and if you haven't yet had chance to see it, then I do urge you to go whether it be to London or whilst the play is on tour.

Summary: An excellent production
