Advantages: A landmark

Disadvantages: Blighted by overdevelopment

Very impressive place, the only thing is that it is getting completley surrounded by buildings when it should be sitting on its own. At the moment they are building right in front therefore ruining the view from the front. So wrong! I'm sure the council who own the building could have prevented this happening.

A real landmark and beautifully situated overlooking the river. Well thought out plaza area surrounding though this is being encroached on. Impressive interior, public areas are bright and airy and clean. As intended, a great place to see a concert, last time I went was to an opera and it was a great night.

One small disadvantage is that it is slightly stranded, there is a complex with a couple of restaurants next door and a bar inside but it is a bit of a walk to get anywhere for a drink or a bite to eat before or after an event.

Summary: Great venue
