Advantages: You will have a good night out

Disadvantages: Can be expensive

The Belfast Waterfront Hall has been open since 1997 and hosts concerts and events all throughout the year. It is a conference, arts and an entertainment centre. It has gorgeous furnishings and you can see this as soon as you enter the main auditorium.

The Waterfront has a studio, fourteen meeting rooms and also gallery space in it. It also has a restaurant and two bars. The bars can be quite expensive so i would advise you to have a drink at home first if you are coming here for a concert or show.

If you dont mind paying for drink at the bar, you get to stand and look out at the water at the big long windows which is quite a nice touch to the building and very relaxing.

More than 5.5 million visitors have came to The Waterfront Hall since its opening. It has sold more than 3.5 million tickets and staged more than 3, 800 arts and entertainment events.

I have been to several shows and concerts here myself over the years and have really enjoyed them. Tickets though can be expensive so i think going to The Waterfront is more of an occassional treat for most people.

The Waterfront tends to host concerts of lesser known artists so i prefer going to places like The Odyssey in Belfast to catch a bigger show.

It cost £32 million to build The Waterfront Hall. It really is a beautiful building and i dont think you will be disappointed coming here. Shows advertised at the moment in The Waterfront include Paul Potts, Ronan Keating and X Factor boyband JLS.

Summary: Try it
