Alexandra Theatre (Birmingham):

Glee Club, The ... work we do like having a good laugh and as our bosses think they are very funny and to be honest they are most of the time, we do have a laugh daily at work. As a little motivation we get to go out once a month if we hit certain targets so what we decided to do was go to the Glee Club in Birmingham for an night out. We had such a good time that we are currently planning going again at some point and to be honest it is one of those things that you can go to, truly relax at and basically not worry about money as it will not actually cost that much. Old Rep Theatre (Birmingham) ... those of you who don’t know, I am part of my local theatre group and enjoy taking part in loads of shows and pantos. Many of the shows I have been in have been performed at the Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham. Supreme Cat Show ... Supreme Cat Show is the top UK cat show and is held every year at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. 2001 was it’s 25th Supreme Show and it took place on Saturday, 24th November 2001 in halls 18, 19 and 20 of the NEC. The halls are in the newest part of the NEC complex and are all on one level. The NEC has a huge amount of car parking and there are free shuttle buses from the car parks to the various halls. The parking is not free there is a charge of £5.00. For rail travellers there is a covered walkway connecting Birmingham International Rail Station to the NEC.
