      Fantastic Show

I saw this production a couple of months ago with a friend of mine. We were sat in the upper circle, and had a great view. The sets were amazing, and we had a great view of everything that was going on. My favourite part of the musical had to be the songs, in particular the song 'Shoes upon the table' which was my favourite. I also loved the integration of the Narrator role as I found it intriguing, and gave the whole play an almost dark atmosphere from the start, and a sense of foreboding. It's a very enjoyable musical to watch, and the songs are spectacular. For someone who had never heard any of the songs before, I went away humming the tunes to many of them. My only fault would be that there wasn't much dancing, with many of the songs being acted very well, but mostly performed in a restricted part of the stage. The characters are all well developed and the ending was fabulous, a great way to close a show. Leaving the theatre, you are left with many talking points to discuss about the plot, the songs, the production, and I think it's well worth paying the price for admission. I think it also can appeal to both men and women, with a lot of action and emotion to keep both parties interested, however I would not recommend for young children to go and see the show as I don't believe it would be suitable for them.
