The Cornerhouse is a bar / cinema situated on Oxford Road in Manchester, by the train station. The cinema tends to show more arty films than the general blockbusters of normal cinemas.

The Cornerhouse has a good atmosphere, and is simple and clean. It is more suited to older middle class individuals, as the price of beer in there breaks the bank. It is very expensive, but at the same time is classy, so you pay for the experience.

Famous people can occasionally be spotted in the cornerhouse. Last time I went, Roy from Coronation Street was lurking about in there, actually drinking a pint of beer, which is really unusual because you never see him drinking on TV!

The cornerhouse has an upstairs and a downstairs, that little bit more space makes it better when its busy because more seats are available. They also serve food and have wi-fi internet available, so you cant go much wrong. If your rich enough anyway!

Summary: Alright for a visit, but a bit pricey to make it a regular place
