Oh, the nostalgia! I can remember the Mr Men series from my own childhood and I can even remember when the frist Little Miss books came out. They are so cleverly written - in my husbands office people give them as "gifts" to show what they think of each other ( Mr. Bossy, Mr. Clumsy, Mr. Forgetful etc.) - but kids enjoy them endlessly and mine can't get enough of them. They are great as bedtime books as they aren't too long and the stories are very sweet (no scary monsters etc.) There's often a moral in the tale, but that goes right over their heads!
