Newest Review: ... told by the extremely polite and friendly woman in the box office that they would allow us to stand at the back of the stools for £10 each (the normal stools price was £45). We arrived back at the theatre at 8 for the show. The staff were extremely polite in directing us to the bar where there was a good range of very reasonably priced drinks. When ordering drinks we were asked if we would like to pre-order drinks for the interval which is a good idea as despite good staffing, the bar was not in any way big enough to allow everyone to order drinks during the break. I don’t often go to the theatre, in fact I am much more used to going to the local multiplex and putting up with the smell of stale popcorn and stained seats! But the Wyndham Theatre was not just in a different league to this – it was like another world! I decided to go in to London with my partner on a Saturday with the possibility of seeing ‘The Play Wot I Wrote’ although we were not too hopeful as we had left it so late to get tickets.
