Disney's Typhoon Lagoon ... recently visited Typhoon Lagoon for the first time. Having never been to any sort of water park before, I really didn t know what to expect. I m not very adventurous with theme park rides, and extreme sports, but even I was able to have a wonderful time. I tried the Humunga Kowabunga, an extremely high and fast water chute, and the Crush n Gusher (a water roller-coaster!). They weren t really my cup of tea, as I found them a little too extreme. My boyfriend, however, loved them, along with all the other more extreme attractions. The wave pool was great fun, and Castaway Creek, the long lazy river that gently carries you in a big circle around the entire park in a giant... Disney World Orlando Florida - Attraction: Splash Mountain ... World in Florida is made up of a number of theme parks, one of these is the Magic Kingdom. The two most prominant rides within this park are Space Mountain and the ride this review will focus on, Splash Mountain. Splash mountain as it name suggests is based around water so be prepared to get slightly wet. You start the ride in a log boat and it seems like quite a clam relaxing boat ride for the first 30 seconds going through various caves & cabins as well as a few small drops. But this is nothing compared to the big climax which follows. This involves a 50 foot plunge down the big mountain ending in a massive splah in the water at the bottom. I loved the ride... Wet and Wild (Orlando) ... and Wild is a water park in the Universal district of Orlando, it s one that can be paid for at the gate or it comes as part and parcel of the Orlando Flexticket. The slides are split into 5 different types, although they aren t located in batches, they re spread around the park. Super Thrills This section includes; The Storm, Bomb Bay, Der Stuka and Mach 5. We all went on Mach 5, which is a slide where you take a mat up to the top and slide down facing forward on your stomach.
