Aqualandia Benidorm (Spain)

Aqualandia is basically a huge water park, with loads of rides, cafes, sunbathing spots. Etc. There is also a section within it called Mundomar (although you have to pay extra to go to this bit), which is a marine and exotic animal park. Here they do shows, (including shows with dolphins), and you have the opportunity to swim with the sea lions. I have never been to this section, so I can't comment on how good it is, but if you like shows and displays, then I imagine it is very good. Aqualandia is an enormous water park on the Costa Blanca of Spain. It is located just outside Benidorm - a major English destination for holiday-makers. The park costs 25 Euros to get in for adults. Before going, I was able to find some discount vouchers in a local shopping mall, which gave 7.50 off for adults and 4.50 off for children. This is really good if you can find them. These vouchers can be found in some shops, restaurants and cafes so pick some up before you go! You are allowed to take in your own food and drink, which is worth it too. Although I like to laze around by the pool and do not do a great deal whilst I am holiday, as I feel its my time to relax, I do like to go on several trips and visit the local theme parks and aqua park's as I am a quite a thrill seeker, and still enjoy to do the things that I would have done ten years ago. After two visits to Benidorm, again on both occasions I visited Aqualandia, Benidorms biggest aqua park and located extremely close to the main resort.
