Advantages: Excellent slides for all the family to enjoy

Disadvantages: There is quite a lot of attractions in a small area, in busy times this may feel cramped

I returned from my holiday to florida just under a week ago. The whole experince was great and while we was there we visited the Aquatica water park which was just across the road from the motel we was in. This is the greatest water park i have ever been too. They have lots of slides which include a slide which 8 people can do down side by side in sperate tunnels. You all start at the top with a mat with handles on the front which you lay head first on ( i have never been to a water park where they encourage head first) and you go down and round a few twists you all come out at the same bit and race to the bottom on a brilliantly fun straight drop. Right next to that slide is two big slides together, a green and a blue one. You go down them both in a big ring which you sit in atleast a 2 of you. The green one is straigh with 3 jump ups and goes vert fast. The blue one takes you round a number of twists and turns before you go into complete darkness as high speeds before finishing. Completely over the other side of the park is four slides of the same sort as the blue one i was just talking about but instead of a round ring you sit in a one at the front one behind inflatable or if your a single rider then a single rubber ring. My favourite attraction of this park though was the slide where again you can go on your own or in as a pair, you go down a slide into a bowl which will take you round this bowl, like if you put a penny in a charity box they go round and round and round and then drop into the bottom, this slide did that but not quite dropping you but you go down a slide into the water. What was especially pleasing about these slides where that at the bottom they didnt just throw you into the water to let water go up your nose and everywhere like normal water parks do, these inflatables skim across the water with out throwing you out. The main attraction to this park was the slide which takes you through a pool of dolphins. I saw a leaflet before we left England for this slide was very excited about going on it. When i did do it i was dissapointed, the slide shots you down so quickly you dont have time to see a dolphin. If you ride the slide on the right hand side if you look to the left all you see is the other slide for this same attraction, if you ride the left hand slide there is a chance you will see a dolphin if you look to your left but dont blink or you will miss it.
There is a big sandy beach in this park next to a big pool which had a wave machine, their was a lazy river, a rapids a couple of pools and a great kids play area in the water. The changing facilities were big and in the showers they have Shampoo, conditioner and showe gel all provided for your use, plenty of lockers and a nice clean feel to the whole place. There was plenty of staff around the place and all very friendly, also the restraunt was of reasonable price which serves lovely hot chocolate.
I went in february and it was very quiet, in the height of the summer with a high volume of people i dont know if this will suffer as the general area isnt very big. Rating - 8/10

Summary: A great day out for the whole family
