Sydney Aquarium ... was one of my activities from last weeks ozintro. Im not sure how much it costs to get in as it was included in the cost. However when we went there was no queue and we walked straight in. The way we got there was to get a ferry from circular quay to darling harbour. You arrive right outside the aquarium, and you get to go under the bridge and get a view of the opera house from the ferry. The aquarium has so many fish of all sizes. You walk through the smaller tanks, past the alligator, who I have to say didnt look too happy with his tiny enclosure under all the lights and people taking photos of him. The best part are the tunnels where you can walk through. Ther... Read the full review: Fishes! by mizzy |

Sydney Aquarium ... aquarium situated in Darling harbor is a must see and do. I took my then 2 year old as an excuse and we both loved it (in different ways)! It was totally awe inspiring and worth every penny. We spent four hours in there and could have spent longer. The variety of tanks, walkways, tunnels etc all added to its charm. I especially loved being able to see fish completely surround me; underneath me on top and left and right. It would be my number one recommendation while in Sydney. If you buy a three in one pass you can get a discounted rate to the aquarium, the sky-tower and the wildlife world (next door). The areas included a shark area which was quiet scary an... The aquarium itself is a large building which overhangs the side of the quay and utilises its position so close to the water, featuring many attractions for young and old alike. We spent a very pleasurable few hours there in May 2008 whilst visiting the city on a short break and I found it both entertaining and very informative as so many of their exhibitions are native to the surrounding water. Prices could be considered quite high, whe... Read the full review: Fishy Fun in Sydney by flodombey |
