Advantages: the rides

Disadvantages: have to pay to get in, the food is bad

We recently went to revist the blackpool pleasure beach. In the early 90's we used to go every year.

The big dissapointment is that you have to pay to get into the park even if you dont go on any rides. This is ok if you are planning to go on the rides anyway but if you are a parent or grandparent wanting to take your child on a couple of rides it may make you think twice before visiting.

The security was high when we visited with us having to go through airport scanners and random bag checks.

When inside the park all my old faithfull rides were there such as the cars, noahs ark, alice in wonderland, gold mine and the grand national were still there. I didnt really notice many new rides to be honest. Even the stand opposite alice in wonderland where I used to get my novelty coke holder was still there!

The side shows hot ice and the magic show were still there when I visited. I couldnt believe they were still running!

The food we had in the park was overpriced and awful to be honest. You might be better getting something from in town.

Overall our day trip was a nostalgic trip back to the early 1990's for us.
