Advantages: Loads for children to do

Disadvantages: Can not think of any

For a few years running I have gone to Blackpool for a weekend break with the family. Sometimes I go for the Illuminations and sometimes I go in the summer.

Everytime I visit I always have a day at the Pleasure Beach.

All day wrist bands are available to buy online and also at the door. Prices online range from £25 peak and £21 off peak for adults and children are £13 off peak and £19 peak.
Children under 2 go free.

There are rides for all the family which are broken down into three sections.

Major Rides-
Avalance (The UK's only Bobsled rollercoaster)
Bling (Lifted 100 feet off the ground and spun through the air in different directions at a speed of up to 60mph)
Big Dipper (Includes 5 large drops and dips)
Ice Blast (You sit in suspence waiting for the ride to catapult you up the tower at speeds of 80mph)
Wild mouse (Spinning ride not for the faint hearted)
Infusion (Let your legs hang freely while you are soared to amazing heights and taken through a whirlwind water experience)
Pepsi Max (At a height of 235ft it is the tallest rollercoaster in Europe)
Irn Bru (Launched out of the station, through the loop and then back again)Valhalla (A journey through ice, fire, wind and snow)
Grand National (This competetive ride has been up since 1935, once your train has been despatched the race is on to see who gets to the finish line first)
Steeplechase (Hourse race with jumps, twists and turns)

Family Rides Include-
Adventure Golf, alice Ride, Beaver creek, Chinease Maze, Ghost Train, Go Karts, Helicopters, Mini Scooters, Monorail, River Caves and far too many more to mention.

Indoor Attractions-
Arcades, Ice Skating, Horror Cript, Bowladrome, Pasaje del terror and Ripleys believe it or not.

The park's opening hours are varied depending on the time of year but normally it will be open from 10.30am till 8pm.

There are various different places available for eating out including, Pizza Hut and Burger King.

This is a fantastic day out for all the family, especially children.

Summary: Fab theme park
