Advantages: Lots to do places to eat and drink

Disadvantages: can be expensive

I live in Blackpool so love going to the Pleasure Beach for a great day out. I cannot recomend enough!
The only let down now is the fact you cant get in for free one thing that people used to love about this amusement park it was FREE!! You now have to buy a wristband-£30 if yo want to ride or £5 to enter the park. This £5 pass includes the monorail and the train ride but thats it. You can however buy single tickets around the park so if you want to go on one or 2 rides you can. These all differ in prices the bigger rides being about £7 worth of tickets. But great and cheaper if your not wanting to ride everything.
The park is for all ages and has undergone alot of work. They ahve plenty of places to eat at and drink- Burger King, Cafes overlooking rides, Pizza restaurant, Pizza Hut, Donuts, Hot Dogs, sweets, Seafood bar and even a Champayne bar!! There are lots of small themed shops situated around the park so your never far from food and refreshments.
The park isnt set out inareas like other theme parks except Beaver Creek. Theres rides for all ages-Pepsi Max Big One, Infusion, Bling and Ice Blast being the biggest white knuckles. Then theres the Big Dipper, Grandnational, Wild Mouse, Ghost Train, Aeroplanes, Valhalla and much more that are still white knuckles but can be enjoyed by all the family.
There are the traditional fair rides-merry go rounds and small track rides like Alice in Wonderland.
Beaver Creek is the childrens area-parents and older kids can ride some rides too.
Here there are a wide variety of rides for the younger members of the family rides include Little Dipper, Log Flume, Magic Mountain and many more. (I personally love Beaver Creek and there rides and do find myself riding them rides aswell as bigger ones)
Again in Beaver Creek there are a few refreshment stalls and cafes. The staff are friendly and are there to help but you may find alot are foriegn but they should have good english.
The park is disabled/pram friendly but there is alot of ground to cover and alot of hills its not all on one level.
You can purchase photos on alot of the big rides *(and some smaller ones) and also ride memrabilia when you come off the rides.
There arent any big shows on this year one thing that is missed but hopefully they will b back for 2010.
Open all season-till November and weekends throughout winter. Prices Vary adult wristbands about £30 each but if you go online can get some great offers!

Summary: great day out for everyone at any age
