Advantages: Really well themed park

Disadvantages: Is pretty tame

Blizzard Bech is one of two Disney water Parks, the other being Typhoon Lagoon.

This water park is excellently themed as a ski resort in Florida.
The story behind this park is that a snowstorm resulted in Florida's first ski resort, however, when the snow melted, Florida's sun turned the ski slopes into water slides.
Melt-Away Bay is Blizzard Beach's wave pool, this is pretty tame for a wave pool, and nothing compared to that of Typhoon Lagoon.
There is a ski resort Chair Lift which you need to ride to get to the top of "Mount Gushmore", this is quite slow though so I'd recommend walking.
At the top on "Mount Gushmore" is Summit Plummet which is a water coaster this is suppose to get riders up to 60 miles per hour and hurles you down a 350-foot slide. This is the iconic ski jump which can be seen from all over the park.
The Other rides are quite tame but include;
Teamboat Springs - a raft ride
Toboggan Racers - which is a mat you go down on your belly.
Cross-Country Vreek - Is a very large lazy river type thing, which is really lazy as you will probably end up having to swim - or you'll be there all day.
Slusher Gusher - this is the children's equivalent to the the summet plummet, it is pretty tame.
These are just a few of the rides that are there, there are still plenty more to go through. This park does get busy about 11ish but most people have cleared out by mid after noon so either go for it opening or the last couple of hours.

Locker Rooms with changing facilities and showers are offered near the entrance to the park. Small lockers cost around $5 plus a deposit, large lockers cost around $7 plus a deposit, towels can be rented for $1, and life jackets and tubes are available free of charge.

Summary: Really good park, would reccommend taking smaller children here.
