The Blue Planet Aquarium, one of Britain's largest is located in Cheshire near the town of Ellesmere Port. It is extremely easy to find as it's signposted from Junction 10 of the M53 motorway. The aquarium boasts a huge car park so there should be no problem finding a place. Upon arrival, visitors may be slightly disappointed with the ...  Read the complete review

On bank holiday Monday my husband and I had planned to take our 17 month old toddler on a picnic at one of our favourite spots. However the weather had different ideas. It was wet and miserable and so we needed to find somewhere indoors that he would enjoy. An aquarium was the first idea that came to mind however we had already visited our local ...  Read the complete review

Towards the end of the summer, I was hoping to do something a little different with my young son. I had driven past the Blue Planet Aquarium on numerous ...  Read the complete review

We visited the Blue Planet Aquarium on February 8th, 2009. Two adults, and my poor little Niece. The Blue Planet Aquarium is situated close to Cheshire Oaks outlet village, close to Elsmere Port and Chester. Prices are around £14.50 for an adult and £10.50 for a child. Rather bizarely children under 95cm get in for free. The Aquarium is a great visit, but NOT nearly a day out, I would imagine most people would spend 3 hours max, ...  Read the complete review

Given that I have on several occasions taken part in the Shark Dive experience at this aquarium it prehaps seems a little odd that it has taken me until now to visit as a 'dry' guest. But as I had taken a couple of days holiday from work and my Grandmother was asking to be taken on a day out somewhere, and my Aunt quite fancied it, it was decided ...  Read the complete review
