Boggy Creek Airboat Rides (Florida)

Boggy Creek air boat ride is located in Orlando Florida about a 30 minutes drive from Walt Disney World. Here you will board a fan propelled air board and head out on tot he Florida wetlands and in hunt to see birds, turtles and the famous Florida alligator. The boat can travel up to 45 miles per hour over water reads or mud. You can choose from 3 different options. If your in Orlando and looking for something different to the normal theme parks then a visit to Boggy creek airboats is a must! I ahve been to Florida about 15 or so times now and have been fortunate enough to do an airboat ride in the everglades aswell in a few other locations. I have to say that honestly Boggy Creek beat them all hands down! Firstly if you want to do this you need a car! Our hotel tried to convince me it was only a 20 minute taxi ride! I have always had a yearning to visit the Florida Everglades and travel on an airboat. However as my family and I are Theme Park addicts we never seemed to have been able to afford the time for the journey to the Everglades. I have visited Orlando Florida for many years, and I have to say I was getting rather bored with the same tourist attractions, like Disney and the theme parks. Although these are great fun you can't help but think that Orlando must have more to offer. Have you ever wanted to visit Florida's everglades? If this is the trip for you. On one of my many visits to Florida, I took the boggy creek air boat trip. This has got to be one of the best moments of my life, although I hate the thought of alligators, they frighten the life out of me.
