Advantages: Good Rollercoasters

Disadvantages: Not so many Wild Animals, Many Rides were shut

Busch gardens is situated in Tampa, Florida. We went for the day having been told it was well worth the visit. Neither myself or my partner are roller coaster addicts but we might go on the odd one. We were visiting the Park for the Wild animals you were supposed to see. Although we had a pleasant day wandering around we were both disappointed at what we actually saw. There is a train ride around the park where you are supposed to see a plethora of animals. We saw none. It was a real disappointment. In hindsight we should have gone to Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Busch Gardens is reported to have some of the fastest rollercoasters in Florida and the ones which were open on the day we went looked fast and exciting if that's what you like. However, not even all these rides were open, in fact three of the main rides were shut. Of course no money was refunded.

I think if you are in the Tampa area then a trip to Busch Gardens will fill a day. However if you are based in Orlando do Animal Kingdom instead. If you are a rollercoaster junkie then it may be is worth the trip but we certainly left feeling a little disappointed. We had seen more wildlife at Longleat Safari Park.
