Premium Review Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay, Florida): The best coasters in Florida ? (145 words)

Wanna get away from the hurly burly of Universal and Disney, take the Interstate to Tampa and check out Busch Gardens. It's not just a Theme Park, it's an experience, and Makes Chessingtom look like a fun fair on the local village green. Lets leave the thrills aside for a moment because one of the main attractions here are the animals. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Free beer & great rides! (303 words)

Yes, they do give away free beer at Busch Gardens , but sadly it is Budweiser. BUt the operative word here is free so I hope if you do go you will drink as much as you can get away with anyway. When you drive up to Busch Gardens you see the huge roller coaster swirling up in front of you. I think it is called Mantis or something, but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay, Florida): Fantastic park combining coasters with animals (734 words)

I have been to Florida several times and have visited Busch Gardens on every occasion. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. Busch Gardens is located about 2 hours from Orlando, Florida. If this distance puts you off, don’t let it, Busch is well worth the visit. An even better idea is to combine a stay in Orlando ...  Read the complete review

Makes Alton Towers look awful! (103 words)
by - written on 22/10/00
Rating:

The brilliant Alton Towers looks awful when compared to Busch Gardens, Florida. There are five roller coasters all together. The two best are Montu and Kumba. The actual rides are very similar to ones you would find in the UK; they are just much, much bigger! The queues are a lot shorter than in the UK as well. The tidal wave makes log flumes in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay, Florida): Budweiser (118 words)
by - written on 29/09/00 (Useful, 29 readings)

If your doing a flydrive to Florida visiting Busch Gardens is a must for all whiteknuckle ride fans. Tampa is where you will find this park and it is situated off a highway just past downtown Tampa (so try not to wander out in the night). Busch Gardens offers you a free glass (plastic beaker) of Budweiser as that is where it is brewed. You will ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Big Kids Park (114 words)

In my opinion, Busch Gardens is the theme parks for the big kiddies - ie. 12+ year olds and adults. The roller coasters are absolutly phenomenal! Loops, twists and daring drops! If you're out for thrill and want to get away from the tame magical rides of Disney, go to Busch Gardens - you'll adore it. Not really a place to take the little ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay, Florida): The Best Rides ! (382 words)
by - written on 07/09/00 (32 readings)
Rating:

Busch Gardens is situated about an hour away from the main Florida tourist spot - Orlando, but there are lots of cheap coaches from there to here so it is an ideal addition to a florida vacation. The first thing you notica as you arrive is Gwazi - a massive traditional style wooden roller coaster clearly based on Blackpools own Grand ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not quite Disney but still good (139 words)

I was not looking forward to going to Busch Gardens - being thrown upside down on rollercoasters is not really my thing - i don't mind going fast but upside down is a no-no. I expected Busch Gardens to be full of rides like that with not much else. While there is the white knuckle rides, there is also plenty of other attractions to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay, Florida): The Forgotten Theme Park? (163 words)
by - written on 20/08/00 (Very useful, 34 readings)

An often missed theme park is Busch Gardens, about 77 miles from Orlando and a nice easy drive. Most people are too busy with the major theme parks in Orlando but I would stongly suggest not leaving this one out. Not only is it well shaded, and you need shade in the Florida heat but it is well laid out and a park for the whole family. Combine the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Busch Gardens - There's so much to do! (559 words)

I loved this place! This is certainly NOT a Disney Park, a fact which was evident when we didn't get charged $6 to park there. Busch Gardens is in Tampa Bay on the West Coast of Florida and if you are staying in that area, try and tear yourself away from the beach for a day - it's well worth a visit. Think of Busch Gardens as a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay, Florida): Busch Roller Coasters and much much more (576 words)
by - written on 01/08/00 (Very useful, 64 readings)

I must confess - I DO NOT LIKE ROLLER COASTERS and believe me, Busch Gardens has tons of them. If you've a mind to, you can flip and hang upside down all day and never do the same loop twice. What makes Busch Gardens special is that there is plenty of other stuff - for the non thrill seekers - to do. For regular theme park goers, the ...  Read the complete review

If you like your rides to knuckle whiter than white, this is the park for you. Busch Gardens is a park full of coasters, from a traditional style double wooden coaster, the Gwazi, to the unbelievable Montu (which fills the skyline as you approach the park)through the Kumba and Scorpion and Cobra...
