Express Review on Camelot Theme Park

Camelot has to be one of the worst theme parks I have ever been to in my life! The rides were dated and falling to bits - quite literally - as the first roller coaster we were on broke down and we spent an hour sitting on it before having to climb 5ft down a filthy banking to get off!!!!! The pirate ship was boring and very run down in comparison to a similar ride at alton towers. The magic show was very disappointing and the accomodation....... (we were placed in the appartments out-with the main hotel) well I won't even start I'd be typing all night with my list of complaints............ Please don't go! Honestly put some extra money to it and go to Alton Towers or Blackpool instead...........................

Camelot is a theme park which is home to a lot of rides and also offers cheap ticket prices to get in the theme park. Last year I came here with my friends and we loved coming here. I think Camelot is exactly what it says it is - a THEME park, which the theme being centred around King Arthur and the knights of the round table. So many places call themselves theme parks but aren't, so it's nice to visit one that is. From the minute you are welcomed through the gates by King Arthur and his royal subjects (all played by actors who clearly enjoy their work and are enthusiastic about it) you are swept up in a world of mythical beasts, valiant knights and magical spells. OK - so it's designed for kids, but big kids can't fail to enjoy it either! There are plenty of rides for children of all ages, from a section for really small ...  Read the complete review

camelot is a great day out which is especially fun for children. the theme park is located in chorley lancashire and is relatively easy to get to. it is easily accessible by car, coach and train. it costs around £20 for both child and adult admissions or you can buy a family ticket for around £65 which is a lot cheaper than other theme parks. it has a number of medieval shows which are performed throughout the day where you can watch different knights jousting. children love it and it gives you chance to have a sit down and relax. shows are included in the entry price so it is at no extra cost to yourselves. camelot offers a variety of rides ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Camelot Theme Park

This is one of the worst places I have been to in a long time. My son aged 6 was charged full adult price even though he is only 1.1m and could hardly go on any rides. I felt totally ripped off and I complained and received the £19 I'd paid for him back. However I still felt as if I'd thrown the other £38 away.
If you like Alton Towers - don't bother going to Camelot as you will be disappointed!!!
I remember going years ago as a kid and lovely it but ist is dated, and drasticly in need of updating and a good clean.
The Ghost train is simply the worst ride I have been on in my entire life!!! I really wished I'd stayed at home.
