At Camelot the ticket prices to get in for a full day are much cheaper now. They cost around half the price then they was once before. Camelot has one problem their is no parking much available now in the car park. Also no new rides have been put in and most of their rides will be liked kids mostly. They need to add some more rides in for people ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Camelot Theme Park
by Mrs M - written on 08/05/09

Camelot has to be one of the worst theme parks I have ever been to in my life! The rides were dated and falling to bits - quite literally - as the first roller coaster we were on broke down and we spent an hour sitting on it before having to climb 5ft down a filthy banking to get off!!!!! The pirate ship was boring and very run down in comparison to a similar ride at alton towers. The magic show was very disappointing and the accomodation....... (we were placed in the appartments out-with the main hotel) well I won't even start I'd be typing all night with my list of complaints............ Please don't go! Honestly put some extra money to it and go to Alton Towers or Blackpool instead...........................

I think Camelot is exactly what it says it is - a THEME park, which the theme being centred around King Arthur and the knights of the round table. So many places call themselves theme parks but aren't, so it's nice to visit one that is. From the minute you are welcomed through the gates by King Arthur and his royal subjects (all played ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Camelot Theme Park
by Hev - written on 17/08/08

This is one of the worst places I have been to in a long time. My son aged 6 was charged full adult price even though he is only 1.1m and could hardly go on any rides. I felt totally ripped off and I complained and received the £19 I'd paid for him back. However I still felt as if I'd thrown the other £38 away.
If you like Alton Towers - don't bother going to Camelot as you will be disappointed!!!
I remember going years ago as a kid and lovely it but ist is dated, and drasticly in need of updating and a good clean.
The Ghost train is simply the worst ride I have been on in my entire life!!! I really wished I'd stayed at home.

Took my 2 and a 1/2 year old daughter here and she had a great day. She was a little frightened over the jousting (though did like the horses. Very little queueing for rides. Next time would definately take sandwiches. In the "Food Court", queued 10 minutes at the Wimpy then game up. The queue at my till had moved on ONE (yes ONE) ...  Read the complete review

I highly recommend Camelot's new ride Knightmare! It has the highest g force of any ride in the UK and lasts for two minutes. I read that Knightmare was the biggest steel family coaster in the UK today (over half mile long) . It is great to have a ride like that and also all of the other things going on like live ...  Read the complete review

Last year around this time, I found out my parents were taking my two sisters and myself on a surprise holiday, neither of my parents would tell us where we were going until we actually got there!
