Advantages: more coasters than anywhere else, lots of great rides, fun for kids and adults

Disadvantages: long lines, prices

If you're interested in finding tons of roller coasters, visit Cedar Point, Ohio. This theme park has more roller coasters than anywhere else, plus lots more to do.

The newest addition towers above and is called the Millenium Force. The view of the park would be amazing though I doubt you will be doing much site seeing from atop the 300 foot tall roller coaster.

For the faint at heart though, there are many less intimidating rides available such as the dozens of other coasters (14 in all) a steam-powered train, water rides, and much more. There are even rides where you can take your infant on with you if you wish.

The attached water park, Soak City is a great way to cool off on a hot day as well.
Contained within this area are 18 acres of fun. There are water slides, wave pools, inner tubes and water canyons. You are sure to have lots of fun in this area as well.

Cedar Point also includes theaters, hotel resorts, campgrounds and much more. Be sure to plan on spending lots of time in lines though if you want to ride on the more popular rides though. This is especially true during peak times. I've gone on weekends, and spent much of my time in the long lines, so I really would recommend planning your trip during the week for the most fun.

The price of your tickets will range anywhere from $39 for adults, $15.00 for children 4 and older who are under 48 inches tall, and all children 3 and under get in for free. These prices include all rides and attractions inside the park for one-day. Unfortunately, it does not include the price of some of the other attractions such as Soak City, Challenge Park attractions or any other separate fee attraction.

You can also purchase combination tickets, season passes and 2-day passes for a slight discount though. I've been to Cedar Point on several occasions, and have always enjoyed the roller coasters, but the cost is too high for me to visit there very often.

I would recommend that if you are in the area, that you at least visit once though, especially if you are a big fan of roller coasters.

I wanted to visit there for my husband to experience this park, he won't go because i won't go on the rides. Six Flags was enough for me.
