Chessington World of AdventuresNewest Review: ... it was fixed within 5minutes and running again. Another 45minutes in it happened again, this time we were very close to the front, after 10minutes of trying to fix the problem they announced that there were having to close the ride due to maintance and could we all leave. Well, as you may expect some people won't bothered but others were very fed up after waiting nearly and hour to be told ... more |

Went to chessington with my partner and sister (aged 8) on the sunniest day in September, and yes it was packed. We decided to head for Dragons falls (the log flume) but as we got closer we noticed that it was out of use so decided to try something else and maybe come back later. First ride we queued for was Dragons Fury, expected wait of 45minutes......10minutes into the queue it broke down, about 20 - 30pax left the queue so this didn't make a difference to our wait, it was fixed within 5minutes and running again. Another 45minutes in it happened again, this time we were very close to the front, after 10minutes of trying to fix the problem they announced that there ...

On a recent holiday to London to visit family i had aquired some buy one get one free tickets for chessington world of adventure so decided to take our 18 month old daughter and her gran gran ( she is not as old as she sounds) I didnt know what to expect as i have never been before and was dubious on whether there would be anything for my 18 monthd old but as a last resort new they had a zoo and she loves animals so off she went. Now taking gran gran was a ...

Just got back from Chessington and what a wonderful day we had. My son and I (3 years old) left bright and early and braved the traffic on the M25 (surprisingly we only got caught in 1 minor tailback!) We were at the gates with approx under 100 other people waiting for them to let us in. The countdown started and we rushed through. There were so few people that we got on any ride we wanted and often stayed on as there were no queues whatsoever. I woudl recommend Chessington for young children as there are plenty of rides for them but the sea life and the zoo are a real bonus. Three outings for the price of one! I'm not sure how much a day trip ...
