Advantages: Plenty of rides and activities for young children

Just got back from Chessington and what a wonderful day we had. My son and I (3 years old) left bright and early and braved the traffic on the M25 (surprisingly we only got caught in 1 minor tailback!)
We were at the gates with approx under 100 other people waiting for them to let us in.
The countdown started and we rushed through.
There were so few people that we got on any ride we wanted and often stayed on as there were no queues whatsoever.
I woudl recommend Chessington for young children as there are plenty of rides for them but the sea life and the zoo are a real bonus. Three outings for the price of one!
I'm not sure how much a day trip costs as we have an annual Merlin pass and it is worth every penny (not that we paid for it because we used our Tesco vouchers - but that's another story!)
