Advantages: A good dy out for the family
Disadvantages: gets very busy in school holidays
On a recent holiday to London to visit family i had aquired some buy one get one free tickets for chessington world of adventure so decided to take our 18 month old daughter and her gran gran ( she is not as old as she sounds)
I didnt know what to expect as i have never been before and was dubious on whether there would be anything for my 18 monthd old but as a last resort new they had a zoo and she loves animals so off she went.
The traffic into the park as suprisingly free flowing and getting through the gates took only 5 mins, but as we went on a friday during term time i can imagine it gets a lot busier.
Now taking gran gran was a good idea as she amused the small child whilst mummy and daddy went on th big rollercoasters, which we didnt have to queue for any.
But i was really surprised by how much my little girl went on and thoroughly enjoyed. She went on the big wheel, the tiny trucks, in the haunted house and on the bubble works ride and a couple of other small rides. SHe loved the animals in the zoo and the sealife centre ( all included in the price).
Lunch had a good variety between a pub, mexican, burger king or kfc and we opted for kfc and were pleasantly suprised that the prices were not put up just because you were in a theme park.
It reallydoes have something for everyone and once you are in you dont need to spend anything if you dont want but can spend your money on fair ground type games and souvinirs.
I would recommend if you can to goduring termtime as the holidyas do get really busy.
Summary: keep an eye out for entry vouchers on the net
