Advantages: Everything, the food, the rides and the staff aren't even that bad.

Disadvantages: The day just isn't long enough

Chessington World of Adventures is brilliant when your nine and as you get older it isn't quite so thrilling, but its still pretty good. Chessington World Of Adventures is a brilliant day out and shouldn't be missed whether you do or do not have a family.

Everything included, there are 27 rides and attractions. 21 of which have restrictions of some sort. To some rides there are minimum and maximum heights. The maximum minimum height is 1.4 meters (this applies to the Samurai, Rameses Revenge, Rattlesnake and Rodeo). The next minimum height is 1.2 meters (this applies to Billy's Whizzer, and the Vampire). The last minimum height is 0.9 meters (this applies to Black Buccaneer, Roger The Dodger's Dodgems, Runaway Train, Dragon Falls, Seastorm, and Clown Coaster).
There are also maximum heights and if you wish for those because you have younger children please do mail me and I will give you the information.

As you can tell, there are a variety of rides all scattered in different lands which are 'Mystic East' (containing Dragon Falls and the Samurai), 'Forbidden Kingdom' (containing Rameses Revenge and the Forbidden Tomb,
'Mexicana' (containing the Runaway Train, the Rattlesnake and the Rodeo). 'Market Square' (containing Seastorm and Safari Skyway (and a lot of shops and restuarants)). 'Animal Adventures' (which is basically the only part of zoo that is left there), 'Transylvania!' (containing McDonald's a few shops, the Vampire and Professor Burp's Bubbleworks (which is now limited to family groups only because of trouble they ave had with visiting schools)). 'Toytown' (containing lots of fun for kiddys which may be the bit you are interested in so here is the list Tiny Truckers, Carousel, Flying Jumbos, Clown Coaster, Old Crocks Rally, and the Cadbury Castle (which isn't a ride its a shop)). 'Beanoland' (containing Roger the Dodger's Dogems, two s
tunt show places, and Billy's Whizzer). 'Pirates Cove' (containing Black Buccaneer, Action Man Training HQ).

Remember the days of queueing for literally two and a half hours for Dragon Falls? well those days are gone./ Now they have a virtual queueing system that you can only get tickets for BEFORE TWO O'CLOCK. This is important because if you want the pleasure without the pain, you have to be there before two to collect your ticket. You have been warned.

The new Beanoland is a little overhyped but for children it is brilliant. There is only two rides, but there are three stunt show places and the shows are very good. Your child would love it. Its like being inside the comic in Beanoland.

The new Samurai ride is good but its not brilliant. It does leave you breathless the first time. Its nowhere near as fast or as gravity forced as you may think it to be. Don't go on expecting the world because you'll come off with only the sea. If you are big built or very tall then it unlikely you will be able to ride it because the seats have to make a special clicking sound. If you are over a certain height or weight, riding it could prove difficult. If you are over 1.96 meters tall you will not be able to ride, the same applies with Rameses Revenge and Safari Skyway.

With the additional new rides and some improvements, Chessington World Of Adventures is a great day out for everyone. Whether with a family or in a group. If you are in a group then remember this: no riding Professor Burp's Bubbleworks.. oh the disappointment.

GO THERE NOW!
