Advantages: Swimming with Dolphins is something amazing

Discovery Cove is a theme park in Orlando, Florida where guests swim with a variety of marine animals. The centre piece of the park are the bottlenose dolphins. The park is located adjacent to its sister parks SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica. At discovery Cove guests can interact with exotic birds, tropical fishes, rays, and land mammals.

Discovery Cove contains a coral reef, where guests can use snorkeling equipment (Free of charge) to observe and interact with thousands of tropical fish, sharks and barracuda (Shark and barracuda are behind protective glass) Guests can also swim with dozens of rays (up to 4-feet wide) There is also a heated Tropical River that runs directly through the aviary and circles the park.

Discovery Cove's centre piece is the Dolphin swim where you can "talk, touch, play and swim" with bottlenose dolphins. You will have a trained dolphin adventure guide who will provide information and facts about the dolphins. You are shown how to use hand signals and positive reinforcement to encourage the dolphins to perform tricks before participating in a one-on-one swim. The dolphin interaction is between a single dolphin and a group of around eight people. The one-on-one swim is for about 30 seconds.

The admission for this park is all-inclusive, including food, drinks, equipment rentals, and even a ticket to SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica, or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

There are three different admission options, These are dolphin-swim package, non-dolphin-swim package and "Trainer for a Day" package. Prices start at $250 per person. You must be fast to make your reservations as a maximum of 1000 guests can be present in the park at any one time.

This is a one off exsperance that everyone should do. The food is excellent and the relaxation is bliss. But if you can do the dolphin swim you must you will not exsperance this again.
