Disadvantages: Expensive but worth it

Disney World in Florida is a massive theme park, with four great differently themed parks and two great water parks, Down Town Disney the shopping and nightlife area and a Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. In total the area it covers is about the size of Manchester city, that is a lot of theme parks and Disney Fun, and makes the time spent there well worth the money.

To start with admission to the park varies, the longer you stay the less you pay, here is a list of different prices for the Disney Parks in Florida:

5 day Premium Ticket - Adults £224, Child £119
(This ticket allows you to visit the 4 main Disney parks and also allows you 5 maximum visits to any of the following parks, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Park, Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course)

7 day premium ticket- Adult £237, Child £207
(Has the same format as the 5 day ticket except it allows you 7 days entrance to the parks listed before)

14 Day Ultimate ticket- Adult £237, Child £207 * same price as 7 day as special offer*
(This ticket allows you 14 days unlimited access to the Disney parks and also allows you to hop between parks and use fast passes)

21 day Ultimate ticket- Adult £264, Child £229
(This ticket allows you 21 days unlimited access to the Disney parks and also allows you to hop between parks and use fast passes)

As you can see the park tickets are quite expensive and if you compare them to Universal Studios or SeaWorld tickets, they can almost be double the price, depending really on how long you stay, though 14 days for the price of 7 days is a great offer and if you are considering going to Florida for a few weeks you may be interested in this ticket.

So once you have paid in your adventure begins, you have a great choice of entertainment for all the family and almost any occasion.

The Magic Kingdom
This is a great park that is in all Disney theme parks, this park has 5 different lands including Fantasy Land, Tomorrow Land, Frontier Land, Main Street Usa and Adventure Land. Each land is themed differently and is decorated accordingly, for example Fantasy Land is themed in a fantasia kind of way, Tomorrow Land has a futuristic theme etc. Main Street Usa has only shops and restaurants, though it is still a great place in the park and is themed in a 1940s American style and this is where the street parades take place, both in the day time and at night in the summer.

The Animal Kingdom
This is one of my favourite parks, it's just like one big zoo with rides and other attractions in it, there are so many animals and attractions in this park it makes for a great day out. Some popular rides in this theme park are Expedition Everest, which is a great roller coaster where you ride up Everest and come across a Yeti; this is a great Disney coaster. Another great attraction in the Animal Kingdom is Bugs Life, it's tough to be a bug, which is a 3d show where the bugs fight back against us humans, Kilimanjaro Safaris are a must see in this park, this is a great safari trip around a wildlife enclosure that gives you the chance to see loads of animals including Lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, alligators and many more, all in an open bus so you can get a real good look, it's a great experience and my favourite attraction in this park, well worth a visit.

Epcot
This is a futuristic land that has lots of different attractions that can be both fun and educational, Epcot also has a world expedition where you can walk through different countries in the world, including America, China, Norway, England and many more, each land is themed in the appropriate way and gives you a bit of a feel for what the country may be like, with restaurants and some rides or attractions. Epcot has rides like Soarin, Honey I shrunk the Audience, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Test Track and many more, also at the end of the night in summer the fireworks in Epcot are great and it is recommend that you check them out.

Disney's Hollywood Studios
Disney's Hollywood Studios is a great movie theme park in Disney, there are some great attractions in this park including Fantasmic, Rock n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith, Playhouse Disney Live!, Toy Story Mania, Lights Camera actions Motor Show and many more, there is something for everyone in this park, and there are loads of great shows as well as attractions.

Overall I think that DisneyWorld Florida is a great park and is really worth the money, it's in a great area in Florida and there is so much to do, so if you can afford it, it's well worth the money as we have so many great memories from our holidays there.
