Disney World Orlando Florida - Attraction: Splash Mountain

Splash Mountain is one of the best rides in Disney World Florida and is found in the Magic Kingdom in Frontier land. Splash Mountain is a water based log flume style ride, it is set on the film "Song of the South" which was ofcourse a Disney film and was released in 1946. This is one of the longest rides in Disney and lasts over 10 minutes, though you are never bored with all the drops turns and ofcourse the brightly coloured and well told story going on all aroung you. You will find this great ride in Disney's Magic Kingdom in Florida it is at the back of the park behind Cinderella's castle, in the Wild West and Deep South themed Frontier Land, the Magic Kingdom is separated into seven of these themed lands. I have been to Walt Disney World in Florida almost every year for 22 years. Our trip always includes a visit to the Magic Kingdom, and Splash Mountain is the ride we look forward to the most. As the longest ride in Disney (around 10minutes I believe), you really feel like you're getting you're money's worth ($71 per 1-day ticket), as the ride takes you through various scenes depicting the adventures of brer rabbit, featuring music/singing from Songs of the South (zippadee-doo-dah, etc.). Disney World in Florida is made up of a number of theme parks, one of these is the Magic Kingdom. The two most prominant rides within this park are Space Mountain and the ride this review will focus on, Splash Mountain. Splash mountain as it name suggests is based around water so be prepared to get slightly wet.
