Disney World in Florida is made up of a number of theme parks, one of these is the Magic Kingdom. The two most prominant rides within this park are Space Mountain and the ride this review will focus on, Splash Mountain.

Splash mountain as it name suggests is based around water so be prepared to get slightly wet. You start the ride in a log boat and it seems like quite a clam relaxing boat ride for the first 30 seconds going through various caves & cabins as well as a few small drops. But this is nothing compared to the big climax which follows.

This involves a 50 foot plunge down the big mountain ending in a massive splah in the water at the bottom. I loved the ride, the build up is really good before a fabulous finish. Depending where you sit on the boat, the wetter you'll get. I noticed that the person right at the front will probably end up as the wettest.

This ride is alot of fun and one which is suitable for the whole family. The only problem is as it's very popular, you can sometimes queue up for it for a number of hours.
