I first visited Disneyland in California in 1990, and returned recently having visited florida in between.

The park itself has improved considerably since then and there is a lot of new attractions. I somehow expected to be disappointed second time round but fortunately it still lived up to my expectations.

There are some excellent attractions, the whole place is magificently organised and the shows (particularly in the evening) are spectacular.

Disneyland certainly matches or beats the Magic Kingdom in Florida, however that is all you get - no other parks in California.

All in all, we had an excellent day, the only downside being the queues (it was a busy July day), be prepared to wait over an hour for the major attractions
