Advantages: Excellent park and great staff

Disadvantages: No shuttle bus between Davy Crockett Ranch and Park and food in park

Disneyland Paris was an extrememly good holiday for me and my family. There were five of us, including one disabled and the facilties were generally very good. For my sister, who is disabled, it was relatievly easy to find suitable rides and not have to wait in the long queues for a while, unlike everyone else. This was good, as it is hard for her to stay still in enclosed spaces for too long (such as the queues), and a 'blue' card, which can be enquired about at information enabled four people to go to the front, or nearer the front of queues rather than wait, which made life for us a lot easier. The card could be used on every ride and if you are travelling with a disabled person, you should definitely ask about one at an information point as soon as you get there. Unfortunately for us, we did not know about this until queueing lots only to get to the front when we were told to go to information and get one after this. However, facilities in the park are superb for disabled and staff are exteremly friendly and patient with them. There is even a car park situated much nearer the park next to the Disneyland Hotel for disabled people. There is definitely not as much to walk, but you should make sure you get the correct code, as it changes everyday. The communication between the security did not seem too good so unfortunatley we could not use this and had to woalk further than necessary on a few occassions. If you do want to enquire about a blue card then it is advisable to take proof of diablility with you, as we were almost refused one, despite an obvious disability and a wheelchair.
Even if you are not travelling with a disabled person, and won't be able to skip the queues quite as effectively, the park is definitely worth a visit, and if you want to get on the rides faster, take full advantage of the fastpass tickets, but make sure you read the conditions of use to see if it really would be worthwhile to you. Rides in the Disneyland Park i would definitely reccommend for thrill seekers are Space Mountain and Indiana Jones, and Big Thunder Mountain. If you want to be reminded of the favourite disney stries, then have a ride on the boats beneath Casey Jr. (Les pays de contes fees i think thery're called), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pans Flight, and Les voyages de Pinocchio, which can all be found in fanatsy Land, along with It's a small world and Alice's Curious Labyrinth, also well worth a visit. Buzz Lightyear, in Discoveryland is also a fun ride for people of all ages, but Star Tours, although on the Fastpass menu did not live up my expectations, but see it if you have the time.

The fast food in the Park was unfortunately likely to make you ill, iof not feel it. Maybe it was beacause it was at night, and the restaurant was closing soon, but is that really any excust to serve customers frozen chicken nuggets? But I do have to say not every meal was that bad, the reast was edible, but certainly not delectable. If you do want to eat in the park, either pre-book at table somewhere in Main Street USA or bring your own food which can be eaten in a picnic area next to the entrance of Disneyland.
One final part of the this park that really makes everyone happy are the Parades. We saw two, one at 7pm, when it was still light (Once Upon a Dream Parade), and one at night (Fantillusions), all of which were amazing, and featured most of Disney's characters, which can also be met during the day at various points in the park - but watch out for the villains - they might surprise you a little if you annoy them!

The Walt Disney Studios park was also very good, and staff were very friendly there too. I woud definitely recommend the Studio Tram Tour in this park, and the Rock'n'Rollercoaster, Armageddon, Moteurs.., and Crush's coaster are also supposed to be very good. I did not get to go on these rides as I ran out of time on my holiday. I almost made it onto the Rock'n'Rollercoaster, had it not been for a technical difficulty during which everyone was told to leave the ride and wait in the queue, which ultimately made me, my mum and brother leave the ride as they were too scared to ride after this, especially after seeing how fast the rollercoaster starts off at.
We stayed at Davy Crockett's ranch and would definitley recommend a visit to Blue Springs Pool and Davy's Farm, however if you want to buy some Disney memorabilia from the shop here, see if it is in Disneyland Park, as it may just be slightly cheaper there than at the ranch.

We visited at the beginning of August, and managed to secure fantastic weather, especially near the end of the holiday when there were absolutley no clouds and temperatures reached a height of 37 degrees.
I would definitely recommend visiting the park, at any time of year, as it is guaranteed that there will be brilliant seasonal entertainment. Prices may be high, but it is fully worth it - I've never been on a more fun - or tiring - holiday!

Summary: A thoroughly enjoyable holiday for people of all ages

We got to the gates and they were refusing to let people take their own food into the park - actually making them chuck picnics away and so on - got away with hiding ours under jumpers in my bag! x

I loved it here and I went one September just after the schools went back. No queues whatsoever, we did some of our favourite rides and then went back round and got another go straight away.
