Advantages: fun, shows, rides, hotels
Disadvantages: bit expensive
Many people might think that Disneyland Paris is only for kiddies, but they are wrong. Going to Disneyland was probably one of the best holidays that I have ever had. It is just so fun and entertaining and you have always got something to do.
The Hotels
There are many different hotels in the Disneyland area and there are shuttles that take you from your hotel to the parks, which is very handy and you don't have to walk. There are a number of Disney hotels; Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Hotel New York, Disney's Newport Bay Club, Disney's Sequoia Lodge, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne, Disney's Hotel Santa Fe and Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch, these are the Disney hotels but there are many other hotels in the Disneyland area such as: Holiday Inn, Radisson SAS Hotel and many others. All of these hotels are very comfortable, Davy Crockett Ranch isn't a hotel but a camp site where you can stay in cabins.
The Parks
There are two parks in Eurodisney; Disneyland Park where most of the main rides are, and Walt Disney Studios that mostly contains shows but also has some rides. Both of these parks are worth going to but if you only can see one Disneyland Park is better as it is bigger and has more rides, it contains 5 different magical lands that each has a theme, the top 5 rides in this park are: "It's a small world", Space Mountain: Mission 2, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. This park opens at 10:00 am and closes at 22:00pm. Walt Disney Studios have many fantastic shows: Cinemagique, Animagique... You can also visit 4 studio lots and explore behind the scenes. The Studios open at 10:00am and closes at 19:00pm. In both parks you will find Disney characters and they will be happy to sign you an autograph and take a picture with them.
The Village contains many shops and restaurants and is a good place to get gifts for the family or pick up a souvenir, they are many good restaurants in Disneyland and the average price for a good meal per person is about 15-20 euros.
I personally think that Disneyland is a wonderful place for both family and friends but don't go on your own, you'll have a much better time with somebody else.
You can stay in a good hotel for a price from £120 but you still have to buy the tickets to the parks which costs. There are many different types of tickets that you can purchase; 1 day/1 park ticket(£34), 2 days/2 park ticket(£75) and 3days/2 park ticket(£93). This can all add up to be an expensive journey but it is worth it.
Summary: Worth it

- 12/05/08 What do you think of the experience? Much of this info we could get from the website.
And I have yet to be convinced from the opening of your article that there's anything for adults here - you make the claim but don't back it up.

- 11/05/08 Sorry for low rating, this is because there is only some very basic information here, I didn't learn much and there is little by way of personal experience. |
