Advantages: Good ride for all the family - not too scary for little ones

Disadvantages: Long Queues

Big Thunder Mountain is one of my favourite rides in Disneyland Paris.. It is situated in Frontierland which is themed on the old wild west. This is the main ride in this land, there really isn't much else, exept for Phantom Manor. However its worth visiting this land for the great cowboy atmosphere. Tip - if you walk right past Big Thunder Mountain and towards the train station, you will find either Woody or Jessie signing autographs most mornings.. There are usually other characters about as well neat the food place. Anyway back to the ride , the queues can be long so its worth getting a fast pass, but as stated in other reviews, the queue is quite pleasant as it twists and turns and there plenty to look at. My daughter first went on this ride when she was 3 (she's tall for her age) and she loves it. As soon as you set off it goes dark whilst you go through the tunnel which takes you onto the island. You then go up the first hill and you sometimes wonder if you are gonna make it up as the train grinds and clanks from side to side, but once up the top, its off you go on a series of bends and drops until the last bit which is really fast and pitch black until you come back out of the tunnel with a big grin on your face. My whole family really love this ride, and have been on it time and again, an old favourite that you never tire of.

Summary: Definately one to try - Great Fun
