Disneyland Resort Paris - Discoveryland

Discoveryland. is very French! This land has been inspires by the writings of Jules Verne. You will see this once you see the walk through model of Nautilus (from 20,000 leagues under the sea). The main attraction here is Space Mountain: Mission 2 a white knuckle coaster that is under cover and sends you propelling to the star in pitch black! There is also Autopia where you sit in cars and get electronically driven around a track. The kids love this one but for us grown ups it really is boring and you find yourself counting the time until you can get off. This along with Fantasyland is where we spent most of our time in. First a great tip that we happened upon on our last day. The queue for The Lion King is awfully long and people wait in it for hours to get seats. We had lunch in the building - videoplolis and we got to sit in the tables infront of the stage, behind the seats for the show. Plus the food is Disneyland is all expensive but this is the only restaurant we ate in out of four altogether that had a free salad bar - well not actually a salad bar more tomato, onion and lettuce for your burgers but still that was all that was in the 4 euro green salad pretty much anyway!
