The fun carries on once the park is closed! (Disneyland Resort Paris - Disney Village)

Advantages: Great fun, lively and entertaining.

Disadvantages: Food not amazing quality.

The Disneyland Village is a great extra to the Disney land park area. It is mainly a shopping, dinning and drinking area which is situated right next to the main park, and you do not have to have a ticket to get in.

As you pull up at the buss station or car park and make your way towards the Disney area Disneyland village is opposite the main park. It has a over head sign which greats you on your way in indicating you are in the village. Next to the village is a large IMAX cinema and then slightly further along there is a bowling alley.

For me the best part of the village was the Buffalo Bills wild west dinner and show. You have to pay to go to this, but if you pick up a voucher on the leaflets that are liberally spread around the park and village you get it for much cheaper. This involves a dinner (served in a frying pan) and free beer or coke and a wild west show whilst you eat. This was so much fun, you get a free logoed hat and it is evening long laughs and entertainment. The food is not of the highest quality but the show makes up for it.

Inside the village are a variety of other themed bars and restaurants. There is a sports bar, showing sports on many TVs, pool tables and of course drinks and snacks. There are tons of shops selling disney merchandise and even a nighclub.

The drinks and food are fairly expensive and of a fast food quality, but I think that is what you expect from theme parks. There was entertainment most nights in the bars, for free which was great fun.

Overall I really enjoyed my time in Disneyland village, the bars and venues were fun and friendly, if a little expensive. Please come prepared for basic food!

Summary: Dont expect too much of the food and enjoy yourself.
