Advantages: Buffalo Bills Wild West Show

Disney Village is a shopping and entertainment district located in the centre of Disneyland Paris. It was based on the Downtown Disney area of Walt Disney World in Florida, just on a much smaller scale.

The Disney Village is an ideal place to go in an evening if you want to escape the parks for a while (or on the nights where the parks close early). It has a great variety of things to do aswell as several places to eat. The Village has a Cinema and an IMAX, a Bowling and Games centre and a Disco for the adults.

The main attraction however would be Buffalo Bill's Wild West show which offers shows twice nightly in the peak season. The show contains cowboys and Indians, cattle and horses. Various elements of the show include an Indian attack and a stagecoach robbery. The tickets for this show need to be purchased seperately but the price includes a themed menu, dinner show and a cowboy hat.

Disney Village also has a wide variety of places to eat. Ranging from sit down meals to snacks and drinks to go. My favourite place to eat was Café Mickey. This is a table service restaurant that does character meals with Mickey Mouse! To be honest it was pretty expensive for the food they serve but it was a great night! Other places to eat include the Rainforest café which is amazing - kids will love it, and planet hollywood. Both server simple food such as burgers, chicken and ribs etc but it was all really tasty! You will also find various sports bars and diners if you just want a quick bite to eat.

Disney Village would not be complete without shops! There is a wide variety of shops to suit everyone. You can buy all of your Disney souvenirs in one place as there is something for everyone here with a 'World of Toys', Disney Fashion and a Disney Store!

At the end of the Disney Village area you will come to a lake - around the lake are many of the Disney hotels which are also nice to have a look around - especially the New York Hotel as this has an Ice Rink at Christmas!

Disney Village may be smaller than Downtown Disney but it has a good range of shops, entertainment and eateries to keep all families entertained! It's a great place to spend an evening!
