When I think about Disneyland Paris, Main Street USA is the first place that comes to my mind. Main Street USA is the first place that all guests enter as soon as they enter the Magic Kingdom, this is the same in both Disneyland Paris and Disney USA.

Main Street USA is decorated in a clean and upbeat way, it shows a Disney version of what the USA looked like in the early 1900's there is loads of big beatiful buildings on this street and there is also loads of bright colours and a train station at the begining that will bring you to all the different lands of the park.

The first thing you will notice when entering Main Street USA is that Cinderellas Castle is over looking it, in the Paris park you can walk through this magical castle and go upstairs to see the story of Cinderella in stain glass, and also downstairs there is a Christmas Shop all year round, further underneath there is a dragons dungoen where a fire (well fog really) breathing dragon stays, this dragon can be quite scary to younger children though as it is quite well done and realistic.

Back to Main Street USA though, this part of the park has no rides or shows in it, however occassionly there are street performers on it, playing upbeat old songs, and also this is where the Disney Day and Night Parades pass through.

There are loads of Disney shops and restaurants on Main Street USA, they include Caseys Hotdogs, which do a great hotdog and arent that expensive compared to other food places in the park, there is also a great restaurant that sells waffles with chocolate syrup and all other sorts of sweets, though they can be quite expensive its worth having one at least once in your holiday, and a load of different sweets and mercandise shops, that are great to have a browse through and pick up some soveiners, even though they are quite expensive.

Main Street USA sets the magical feeling in the Disneyland park and is unavoidable when you visit, its full of great shops and restaurants and one of my favourite parts of the park.
