Advantages: Less busy from my experienc, reasonable pricing

Disadvantages: Too few rollercoasters

Drayton manor is a decent day out. Although I do not deem it to be spectacular, it is quite fun. Prices for entry are reasonable, however the same does not go for food etc inside, but this is to be expected of a theme park. It offers a decent variety of rides, with a rollercoaster having recently been built which has greatly helped the parks cause. I consider it to be more of a regional trip, meaning if you live within two or so hours then by all means go visit it. However if it is a long journey then you may as well drive to Alton towers which has a greater range of rides. On the up side it is nowhere near as busy which means you can get on rides much quicker and avoid what almost seems to be obligitory queuing these days. It is relatively easy to reach by public transport, I caught the train and split a taxi fare with my friends which was very reasonable indeed and a good idea I think. Another plus side in comparison with the likes of Alton Towers is that is more southern and therefore a better chance of decent weather prevails which makes all the difference!

Summary: Not overwhelming, but nonetheless a good day out to be enjoyed
