Advantages: Thomasland if your little one is a fan

Disadvantages: Not too many white knuckle rides for the teenagers

We went to Drayton Manor last August especially for the newly opened Thomasland for my then 3 yr old boy. We stopped in a Travelodge nr Tamworth the night before as we were travelling from Newcastle upon Tyne so a long journey to do in the day.
The car parks are well designed and plentiful with attendants on hand to direct all traffic
The park itself is quite spread out with a wide variety of ride types. White knuckle for the daring, family based for all ages, train rides, big wheel, log flume, merry go rounds, crazy golf etc. good selection for all ages
I espcially recommend the Dragon ride fo all the family, you sit in a boat and get took round a fantasy land of dragons and knights
There are a good choice of restaurants and snack bars with quite reasonable prices for a theme park, not as expensive as i thought it would be. Also they have picnic areas for those who take their own food
Plenty of toilets and seating ares, shops are a good range also with the usual souvenirs, sweets and snacks. There are also traditional arcade areas too
Thomasland - What an addition!! loads of rides for the children all based on Thomas and friends, Harold helicopters, Thomas and Percy train ride, Fast spinning diesels, Truck rollercoaster, Bulstrode pirate ship, Cranky high flying ride etc etc along with all the characters in their sheds for photo opportunities - dont forget your camera!! we have many pics of my little one with his favourite trains
They also have a massive indoor soft play area, ideal if the weather turns nasty for a while or the adults want a rest!
The Thomas shop has everything also which is brilliant, we got many things and put them away for Xmas
Queues werent too long even in August
We will definately be going back, couldnt recommend it enough and neither can my little boy!

Summary: Excellent choice for all the family

How much is the admission? What are the opening hours? Where exactly is Drayton Manor? You need more information to make this more useful.
